My girlfriend and I have been together for the past two years, things have been well. We bought a house together this past year but she owns it due to my history. We were so happy together. She had her moments where she was rude and played her little games while she was drunk. She works as a bartender, and I am self employed and a member of the fire department. So I am strapped all the time on call. She hates that. She criticizes me for being stuck up and boring. I am a proud person and would not jeopardize my accomplishments for a beer cause I know what its like to be rock bottom. Anyhow that's a little back ground, we recently took a trip to Las Vegas had lots of fun. Until one night our group went out and her and her friend whom by the way is a drama queen, man hating, blames the world for her having a baby. Who uses my girl as a way out, they were inseparable the whole time they would walk way fast in front of everyone that pissed me off, nobody does that that's just rude. They would talk amongst themselves making plans, and then she slipped and fell on her back and I laughed knowing she wasn't hurt just embarrassed, said that will slow you down. Then they tore off on their little adventure just the two of them like they wanted. So we went to a bar, and I got texts all night, where you at? You never invited us we want to come. So I said they were always welcome, but I think it was a way for her so she knew not to cross paths. Then we met at the hotel and she started swinging and punching me accusing me of sleeping with the other girl in our group and I did nothing of anysorts at all. Things ironed out from there, we got home and did the normal, then I notice a little less kissing , etc. So I got suspicous and seen a new message from a guy that lives 1200 miles+ away saying "hey crazy person I met, sorry about the bf thing you told me about, call me or text me" OK I think I am going to puke!! So all of a sudden the past two weeks she has been in the basement door closed we never shut the door, and I can hear her on the phone talking to this you hoo. He sent her flowers to her work, (something I always do) with a little card saying from your secret admirer from the south. I am not sure what to do from here I really love her and am more than willing to compete for her. What are the chances this guy lives so far away they only met once? I had speculation before this guy as well. I know she would never cheat on me. Should I give up? Maybe it's a phase? Hopefully it will pass in a month like everything else has. Please give me input, and thanks for reading my post!

I am sorry but if she hasn't physically cheated she is definitely emotionally cheating.

You need to sit down and have a non-confrontational discussion with her about what is going on and where this relationship is headed. Let that discussion help you make up your mind. However, be prepared for her to get defensive and try to make you into the villain.

You may also want to look into couple's counseling and a lawyer to find out how to protect your investment in the house.

She ALREADY IS cheating on you. When she closes that door, and talks to him on the phone, THAT is a form of cheating. Plain and simple.

How did she "meet" him. What happened then?

How would SHE like it if YOU had a "special friend". Tell her to respect you a little more, and to be faithful to the one she supposedly loves. This is not normal behavior for someone in a relationship.
