My 1993 Honda Accord is not charging properly. I have changed the cables, new battery, new alternator, but if I crank my car and take the negative cable off the battery, it bogs down and eventually dies after about two minutes. I can't go anywhere and it has left me onside the road two weekends in a row. Someone please tell me what it is

Be sure to perform tests in Steps 8 and 9.

Even new batteries should be placed on a charger, prior to installation. My new Sears Die Hard Gold recently had to be charged for 3-1/2 hours, before it was fully charged. That type of strain would have been hard on the alternator. Therefore, I recommend that you remove and fully charge the battery--most auto parts stores will do this for free.
