My problem is this. My computer was playing sounds through speakers that I had recently purchased, every thing was running fine. But after reinstalling Windows XP my device manager has a yellow mark next to it and say's I have no sound card installed. My mother board is an ASUS P5VDC-MX and I run P home edition.. Does any body have any ideas?? :confused: :confused: :confused:

You may have to reinstall the driver.. Drivers are like programs that associate hardware and have certain functions that basically allow the computer to recognize such hardware and other attributes that allow sound to work.
