I have a 99 honda lx 4 cyl automatic, which at times lately will not start. The fuel pump is running when the key is on and I am getting spark. It cranks on and on but won't start. I had it towed to a garage and when it came off the tow it started. Two weeks went by and the same thing it just cranks. Today my mechanic came over listened to the feul pump and checked for spark both were positive, then he tried it again and it started as if nothing were wrong. No codes were found on the anaylizer. He said drive it until it happens again, then call him or tow it to his shop.;) Any Ideas!!

Replacing the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil will solve the problem:

These problematic components should be replaced every 120,000 miles or 10 years, whichever comes first.
