Has anyone used both? Not looking for a sales pitch. The versaclimber pricetag so much more than the Nordic Climber. Also, for a heavier individual doing a serious work out is a commercial model needed over home use model? Any experience or opinions or other considerations out there? Thanks.

What do you consider "heavier"? My late husband was a big man and we own a Nordic Climber. I have a friend who is a personal trainer and he has Versa Climbers, which I actually prefer. I think the "Versa" seems sturdier, is better built. "Versa" also seems to give a better workout.

Thanks much for your thoughtful reply. Heavier is 270 lb. Don't want a piece of equipment that feels like it's going to break or tip.
In your opinion is the sturdier/better built worth the heftier pricetag? Or am I mostly buying the 'name'?
Do you at all regret owning the Nordic climber and if so, why exactly?
Can you be more specific as to 'better work out,' please?
