I have this shower, the porcelaine handle is broken and I cannot identify the make to find the part. Here is the picture, the handle in the red circle is broken

Hi Gege...

Unless someone else pops in with info. I would advise you to take this picture to a local plumbing supply company and see if they can identify the make/model and get a part ordered for you.

Otherwise, if it is only the porcelain part of the handle that is broken you may be able to take a small plastic pipe, for example, and cut it to the correct length and install it to the handle.. should give a reasonable presentation and at the least take the eye sore away... ;)

You could also make your own out of clay and have a local potter fire it up with a porcelain glaze and then install that... just another idea... ;)

I did bring the handle and picture to a few plumbing supply, but nobody can find the brand.

It looks like older model Restoration Hardware product. Go to Restoration Hardware - Furniture - Bed & Bath (http://www.restorationhardware.com), get their contact info and request the replacement handle.

There should be brand name someplace on the valve or handle. Take a closer look...

My suggestion would be to make new ones out of white Corian.

I wonder how it got broke in the first place.

About how it broke, well I guess the handle was loose, then it fall on the tiles and the porcelaine part broke.
