I received a summons for court for credit court date. There was no court date. Do they send another summons with the date next?

If you received a summons generally it's the first step. You have to send an answer to the court for the summons. Once you answer a hearing will be scheduled. The summons should have instructions on where to send the answer. I suggested browsing around and reviewing similar threads to see how to answer the summons.
