I want to run hot and cold water to an outside sink from the hot and cold to the washing machine in the garage. It is a straight shot to the outside wall about 5'.
Should I open the wall and solder copper lines or are there faucets that accept washer hoses that I can run using y fittings. I had two washers hooked up at one time and have the fittings.

Are you in a cold climate? If so install stop and waste shut off valves, (see image) inside the house so when cold weather sets in you can drain and "winterize" the supplies and faucets. Good luck, Tom

The water to the washer has shut off valves. My question really is there a utility sink faucet that uses the same hoses as a washer? I was going to mount the faucet on the outside wall.

And what where are you planning to hook up your drain ?

Regular faucet accepts 1/2" IP supply. You will have to buy some kind of double outlet attachment for your washer and then convert it to 1/2" ( see the photo ). Than, get 1/2" x 60" s.s. water supply connector and connect it to the new faucet.

Actually I want to hook the Y shut offs back up and run another set of washer hoses. I found an adapter at home depot so I I think I'm good to go.
I live in San Antonio so no hard freezes for very long anyway.
