I was wondering if an 18 year old can legally move out of their parents house while still in school, in Ohio

Yes. At 18 you have reached the age of majority. But if you fall on your butt they don't HAVE to take you back either. Are you looking to play house with somebody or are you just looking to be independent and finish your school in peace ?

The question is, do you have the means to live out on your own yet? Life will be so much easier and prosperous for you if you get some higher eduaction. Even if it's something at a trade school.

If you do move out, you'll have to be able to pay for all the things that your parents are paying for now. Like rent, transportation, insurance, water, power, gas, phone, groceries, healthcare, several things that you don't usually think about.

It's never easy to start on your own.

Is there some particular reason you want to move out? Arguments? Freedom? What's going on?
