Left USA for Canada by bus. Route was Cleveland-Buffalo-Toronto.My intention was to face the exit interview at Buffalo US immigration point but unfortunately did not met any US immigration point on the return journey and subsequently arrived Canadian immigration at Niagra/Buffalo where I was told that I can't go back to US.Also they insist me to handover I-94 card to them which I did to avoid I-94 related complications. This incident happened due to ignorance and misguidance as this was my first time journey by road from USA to Canada.I am a Bangladeshi national and Canadian PR. Need advice what to do or should I report to any authority regarding my failure to face exit interview which may prevent me to reenter USA in future.

I am a Bangladeshi national and permanent resident of Canada. On 10th. Oct-2009.Entered USA through ontario/michigan border on b2 visa where I was registered as special registrant. Immigration rule is I have to face an exit interview while depart USA, failure to do so can create problem for re-entry into the USA in future. After entering USA I have travelled to my relatives places in Michigan and Ohio.Than I bought greyhound bus ticket to return on 12th. Oct XIT USto toronto canada. My route was cleveland-buffalo-toronto.My intention was to face the US immigration at Buffalo to carry out my exit interview. But unfortunately did not meet any USA immigration point and finally reached Canadian immigration point at Niagra/buffalo where I have submitted my I-94(US arr/dep record card) to the Canadian authority.I had no intention to miss the exit interview but this happened due to ignorance for the first time journey by bus.Now I need advice what to do or should I report to somewhere regarding this matter.

There is no exit interview.. you simply hand I-94 to airline staff or immigration officer at the border.. that's all.

All Special registrants are subject to NSEERS(National security entry/exit registration system). As per NSEERS rule all special registrants should see an US CBP officer in person at a designated exit point prior departing USA. In my case I was travelling by Grey hound bus from cleveland,Ohio to toronto,Canada via Buffalo. My plan was to meet US CBP at Buffalo border but unfortunately the bus only stopped at the immigration point at Buffalo which was Canadian and I have handed over my I-94 to Canadian authority.Thats why I am worried whether US CBP will allow me to enter USA on future visit.Do you think this will be serious problem or they will consider when I will explain the fact.Awaiting your opinion and advice. Many thanks.

Please stop posting the same question! We are all volunteers. An Immigration expert already answered you. If you have additional questions that person will answer when he/she next signs on.

In the meantime - again, please stop posting the same question over and over.
