My whirlpool Duet dryer will not come on all the time. The LEDs are very dimly lit next the timed dry the casual cycle the timed dry cycle and the air only and when you push the control on button nothing happens, nothing reacts. You can not run a diagnostic the by pushing the more time less time buttons because they don't respond. When the LED are not lit and you push the control on button everything works just fine, the LED's next to what ever cycle you wish to run come on and everything works perfectly. Everything on the control board appears to be fine unplugging it and plugging it in doesn't seem to affect it. It will just work occasionally. It is a model GGW9250PWO Serial # MS1927618 about 5 years old. The power is fine I have a good neutral, a good ground and the washer operates off the same plug. I have checked it several times with a volt meter and a plug tester.

Take off the lower front panel held on by two screws on the bottom side pull off the cover and you will find the repair manual for the technition. It will explain how to use your volt meter to detrime if your control board is bad mine was.
