It was awful, so so crowded and overpriced... the ground was just slop because it rained yesterday... we did one circuit and left, didn't even buy anything.
Got some Subway for lunch (Chicken fillet, yum!) then got stuck into some gardening...

Here in the States a brand name has become generic for those things. Like Kleenex and Band-aids before it, string trimmers are usually referred to as Weed-eaters.

We use a lot of wood in our patio fire pit, you can get a hlf cord here for about $140.00, and they stack it all in the holder.

Oh my god we did the same thing. We had every character. I went as the good witch and wore a flashy 80's prom gown. We also won. Not first place though. We won a pile of drink chips. Same thing as winning the money since we would have drank the cash winnings anyway.

He's a good boy, but he is still a puppy. Yesterday, this rowdy chocolate lab came off his property to say hi. His owner was right there watching, but the lab kept jumping on Pete's back. At least this dog is friendly, and the man has always been nice to me. The house 2 doors up lets their Rottweiler out. Recently, the Rott walked up to my 86 year old neighbor and put his paws on her shoulders, face to face. She's a tiny little thing. The Rott minds fairly well - he'll back off if I use a stern voice - but he's scary looking.
