My daughter has a track light that works fine. However when I was doing some work in room above the ceiling with the lights, one of the connectors to the ceiling fell out and the track came loose on the end. The lights worked until I reset the connection then the lights went out. I jiggled the track a bit and the lights came back on and now work fine. This happened one other time since then - same issue and same jiggle worked. I suspect it is something in the housing that the track goes through - is there a prong-type connection in there that may be loose that would cause this behavior?

The other problem is my son's track lights. He put the wrong replacement lights in and blew the fuse in the transformer. He replaced the fuse, bought the right wattage lights, but while there is power to the track (when the light switch is on, no power when it is off), the lights don't come one. I have tried resetting one of them. Some said it could be a loose white / neutral but I checked and the connection seems fine.

My first suggestion to you would be to replace the transformer. The drain caused by the incorect bulb could have very well damaged the transformer's wiring and then taken out the fuse.
