Hi, I am a 17 year old guy with a serious problem.
I think that I might be gay. I think this because I used to have a girlfriend when I was 13 or 14. We were friends so I thought that guys ask out their girl friends. She had feelings for me but I unfortunately had none for her. I would never get "excited" when she kissed me or did anything else. I don't have feelings for any of the other girls at my school or around it. I have had feelings toward one guy but I didn't know what it was andhe moved away a long time ago. I want to know if this is phase I am going through or if you think I just am not attracted to any local girls or if I'm gay. I don't care what my sexuality would be whether gay or straight but I would really like to know. I also don't have a GLBT center near me so I could really use the help.

No center will tell you what you are, they may tell you what they want you to be, but only you know what you feel.

So if you feel like you want to have sex with other boys then yes you are gay, if you feel you want to have sex with boys and girls both then you are bi sexual.

You can't go by anything that happened at 13, seldom are 13 year old kids ( boys) wanting to be sexually excited.

So the issue now is why have you not dated in the last 4 years

First off, THANKS for answering. To answer your question, I don't feel attracted to any of the girls at my school or any of the other girls I have seen at other schools. That is why I think I might be gay.
