Trying to wire a remote control for an existing ceiling fan. Problem is light kit plugs into a wiring harness coming from the fan. At the canopy where remote is to installed there is only 3 wires coming out of the fan to the power supply. A black wire, A white wire and a black & white wire. On the remote wiring the black and white wire coming from goes to the light. The red wire coming from the remote sensor is for the fan and the white wire coming from the sensor is the common. Is there anyway to wire this remote sensor in the ceiling fan?

I am sure there is, but I need you to be clear: WHAT color wires come from the remote, the fan, and the ceiling?
