I have an 2000 3 ton Rudd that has a bad condenser fan motor (GE) 3 wire Brown,Orange and Black. Black to line,Brown to cap, and Orange to cap, my capacitor has 3 terminals,6 connections with a small orange going to Line and small purple going to compressor. Now my new motor(Protech) has 5 wires Orange,Purple,Brown,Yellow and Black. The wiring diagram is not so clear 4 or 3 wire hook-up, Clockwise or Counterclockwise. Now I know it is CCW and that it was a 3 wire motor,so I guess my question is What goes where? Diagram shows Orange and purple to the cap, brown and yellow together but not hooked to anything and Black to Line. Is this right? I know rotation is changed by switching the brown and purple wires. Any help would be greatly appreiciated! Thermost reads 87 and is rising!

The Brown and Purple are for Reversing, Those 2 are out of the way.
Brown and yellow together may make it 240 volts(2 coils in series)
Look carefully at the Motor Plate for line connections.
Black and Orange are left, wouldn't try without better info.
A look at their site shows they are under construction(no help).
I will check some more.
