My 5 year old DLT Lawn Tractor smokes after a few seconds of warming up. I should say heavy smoke. Other wise it runs well, starts up well and responds to all levels of the choke. Oil has been changed new plug etc... My son added oil but the oil dip stick reads correctly. My neighbor said maybe an O ring? Does that sound right and is it hard to fix?

What color is the smoke, blueish or whiteish?

Could easily be a head gasket blown and allowing oil into the combustion chamber.
