I have a hampton bay hugger ceiling fan. It was installed by a 'person' who crossed the fan and light wires, so I have to take it down to switch the wires; the light is three way with the downstairs hallway. :mad:

I do not have the instuctions. I have removed the housing and had tried to lift the motor housing and move it every possible direction with no luck. I is a new fan, maybe a couple three years old. But, there are not directions to be found here.

Ok, I'm confused. You are having problems removing the housing, or the motor? Pics?
