Hi wondering went to defrag last night as I have done many times but it just kept running had it going for 16hrs so I just stopped it I recently changed my home page from goole to mozila Firefox would that have anything to do with it.my o/s is wind98se not very clued up on this thanks in advance. It keeps restarting because some application is writing to the hard drive while the defrag is going on. Try doing the defrag in Safe Mode (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/180902).
