A car and truck are driving across open desert. The car is moving at 55 mhp to the northeast and the truck is moving at 45 mph to the west. What si the velocity of the truck relative to the velocity of the car? Please give your answer in magnitude and direction as an angle from north.
MY name is sam, I am struggleing in physics, I would appreciate any help on this problem!

First of all, please correct those typos. Second of all, show us that you tried solving the problem.

The car is moving 55mph NE and the truck is moving 45 mph W. They are moving almost directly apart, but not completely. You might want to solve for the speed first, then the direction.
