Well I just recently moved into this house that is 5 years old. At first I didn't have cold water anywhere in the house. Then two days ago I didn't have water in any place of the house. The problem that I didn't have any water was the pressure switch at the well equipment was all rusted and corroded. So after replacing that pressure switch, it fixed the problem I had of no cold water but now I don't have hot water in any of my two showers. Both are Moen 1 handle showers. Im only 20 years old and have no knowledge about plumbing. Can any of you guys help me out?

When you replaced the switch did you have the hot water then it quit or you didn't have hot water at all at any point seems that you have problem with your shower valves.

What you need to do shut off the water to showers, remove the cartridges check inside the faucet and clean any debris that you see, turn the water on for a few seconds to flush out the debris out of the faucet, clean cartridges and install, do one at a time.
For removal and installation open the link below and it will show how to remove and install the cartridge.

If the above would not help it is time for replacing the cartridges, Call Moen SCI at 800-882-0116 Tell them that you are the original owner and they will send it to you for free, if you need any help don't hesitate to come back to us, good luck.

After I replaced the switch it fixed every faucet in my house that didn't have cold water and stopped the hot water in both showers.

Also when the shower knob is at 3 oclock it shuts the water off and when its at 6 oclock and 12 oclock.

Your problem is with your cartridge or dirt inside the faucet that blocks the hot port, as mentioned in post #2 remove the cartridge and flush the faucet, Thanks.

For directions on pulling and installing a Moen cartridge. Shut the water off and open up the valve Pull the cartridge and check and clean the inlet ports. Now turn the water back on for a few seconds to flush out the supplies. Reassemble and test. Better new? Good luck, Tom
