I am trying to remember a movie I used to watch as a kid. Basically the plot is something like this, the grandson is scared and worried about the grandfather that is out at sea during a storm and the grandmother tells the boy a story about egrets or herons (some kind of sea bird) and the story is based around blue and red crystals. The blue crystal was used by a wise old woman for good things and the red was used by an evil wizard for evil. It ends with the blue woman winning in the end. Then the grandfather comes home from sea safe and sound and I think the movie ends. Any help with a title or anything I would really appreciate or if anyone could add to the plot to make it easier for someone to identify I would appreciate it! I have tried for so long to think of this movie and it would mean a lot to me to figure out what it is! Thanks so much.
