I have a glacier bay single handle shower faucet-at mid range the pipes start to rattle. The plumber says it is a cartridge needed to be replace-how do I get the part?is there a web site

Do pipes rattle both hot only or cold only? By mid range do you mean mid range temperature or mid range volume?

Bad news first.. .

Glacier Bay is/was a discontinued house brand carried by Home Depot.

Good News.. .

Most of the Glacier Bay line were fitted with re-branded Moen and Delta cartridges and valve assemblies, meaning you can likely find a Moen or Delta part that will swap out with your Glacier Bay part.

More bad news.. . Deciding exactly which part you will need may require side-by-side comparisons.

Is this still a good contact?

Most Glacier Bay faucets are manufactured by Globe Union Industrial Faucet Company of Canada , China, and elsewhere. Their brands, besides Pegasus and Glacier Bay, include Danze and Gerber.

Call 877-527-0313 - Home Depot support. They will send you a new one at no charge. I was in a pinch and they even offered to pull one off the shelf and give me the parts I needed at my local store.
They say this happens so often that they really ought to put two cartridges in the box!

I was aware that it was an old thread, however, when I ran into the same problem, this thread popped up in my Google search. Since I'm such a nice guy, I figured if I posted the solution I later found, it might save the next person a bit of frustration!
