Hello everyone.
I removed the toilet to replace some sheetrock behind it. This is what I was greeted with after removing the wax seal and rubber grommet attached.

Now I have a question, this is my first time installing a toilet. It looks as though the flange ring was all corroded away. I went to Lowe's and Home Depot and they only carry a flange ring that is meant to be screwed to the floor. I don't have enough surrounding floor to screw it in to. Is there still existing closet flange in those photos that I have to remove first? What else can I use to mount the bolts for the toilet. I saw in one of the plumbing videos on Google that there seems to be an expanding close flange that looks like it would go inside of the piping. Might that work? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Chris
