After putting my terry bathrobe in the dryer I walked away and it was running. Awhile later, when I smelled the motor burning, I realized that the drum was not turning. I tried to move it but it would not turn. I immediately unplugged and tried it the next day (thinking, perhaps it would cool down and work). It did not and my question is - is it worthwhile calling a repair man because the dryer in 21 year's old? I am only asking because if it is not worthwhile, I will have to buy a matching washer and dryer (my washer is still working fine) and I didn't want to incur the expense if the problem is not a major one. As you can see, I am not mechanically inclined and I have no idea about repairs. Thanks.
