My mum was telling me about a film that she watched in the early 1980's. It was about a woman who gained possession of a second hand book and inside was a slip of paper which passed a curse onto her. The film ends where the man who passed the woman the curse is coming through an airport and when passed his passport back the cursed slip of paper was inside, passing the curse back.

There was a movie called Shrieker, about some college kids living illeagally in a building. One, gets a weird slip of paper with some occult markings on it. The paper is a curse and will summon a demon to kill whoever has the paper. You can't throw it away either. To get rid of it and save yourself, you have to pass the paper on to someone else. But, I don't recall an airport or passport scene.
