I have a 2003 Honda Accord and the lights on the instrument panel just went out. It's that whole section that shows the clock, AC temps and controls and the CD and Radio stations. I've already replaced the 10amp fuses but that didn't work. All of those things still work, I just can't see them on the screen (like to adjust the AC temp, what radio station or CD is playing, etc... )

It could be the bulb, if it has one. Have you checked owners manual to see if there is a section on bulb replacement? Good luck

It's a circuit board Had one installed at a local dealer for $125.00 in an hour. The extra warrentee they issued on ths problem 100,00 miles ran out on me. The dealer was very helpful on this.

I had the same issue with my '03 Accord 4-cyl ex.. the back light went out in my radio as well as the heating and a/c unit. The radio works fine but I can hardly see what time it is or what station its on even in the direct sunlight. I was scared to look into it because my warranty ran up and it could cost some big bucks so I just lived with it.
I finally got fed up and decided to look it up.Apparently, back when they released the accords, they had a recall on the stereo systems because of a faulty circuit board and of all the complaints on the interior lighting going out. I called my dealer and he made an appointment for me to come in and have a look. Because my vin was on the list for one of the recalls, I got the circuit board replaced for free even though my warranty was up. It took a little less than an hour.
