Ok please keep us updated Weezing. Please everyone keep me updated! I am also so curious of how 55H+ Christaline products works on the skin. I'm almost finished with the mediderm Rx as it did nothing for me, I believe it may work better for asian and Caucasian skin. I plan to order the Chrystaline by next week. I know I'll be getting the glycerine but wondering if I should also try more of their products as well. I love the large sizes as well, more product and less cost. I think using a good exfoliator along with the lightening product is beneficial as well.
Weezing how is the Funkymommy coming along? I would love to hear back from Brown Deceit's success and what shade in comparison she is now.

Funkymommy is coming along great but its just not strong enough for really dark areas, I need something stronger. I hope 55h+ is my answer.
I was thinking about mixing the cristiline with the strong body lotion bleaching treatment.

Yes I'm using the Cristaline now! I have't been using long at all maybe like 2 weeks. I posted on here the day I received. I didn't use many products over the summer and what I did use it didn't work. I got so dark during the summer. My husband's friend was like "you finally got some color to you". So I think the Cristaline just took away my bad tan fast. I think maybe like two shades right now.

Hey guys I need your recommendation should I get
55H+ Performance Multi-Action Strong Bleach Treatment or 55H+ CRISTALINE Strong Lightening Fine Glycerin

Ugh. Today I dared to go to my first class in short sleeves. I was so paranoid that everyone could see my secret. Because I started bleaching my arms later than my face chest and neck. So my face chest and neck are very light. But my arms are still kind of dark because I haven't really been focusing on them. It'll probably take a month or two for them to catch up to my upper body. Omg. I was sooooo paranoid that everyone could see my little secret. I felt like I sprinted home from class but I still felt like I was walking. My goodness.

Sagluva, that's really messed up how the owner is acting. You should call there tomorrow and tell him your writing a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. I would have been so hot... you should file a report here and even tell him he should add some complimentary products (large size) for his lateness and poor customer service..

Fairr I used the Diana Stalder papaya kojic soap and the glutathione soap, I like the papaya one better as the glutathione did nothing. The soap helped remove my acne and keep my face clear because of the papain enzyme from papaya. So, it kind of works like a chemical peel so the skin will sting when using it for a couple of weeks and then it will disappear, but it's a good exfoliar but too expensive. Natural black soap (which is really brown, there are a lot of fake black soaps) helps clean the skin well and is very gentle, I now get mine at the flea market or online. This time I'm going to get the Likas papaya soap on Amazon since I read good things about it and it's only half the price of the diana stalder brand. 55H+ looks like they have good soap too that lasts long.
Weezing what's the name of the 55H+ lotion and do you see any lightening yet?

Yup the 55h+ soap with apricot extracts but I think its to rough for my face. Could that be why results are so slow on my face? Its weird because usually my face is the first to lighten before anything else lol

Oct 2, 2009, 07:12 AM
I think its best that people state their race and skin tone. Because I feel that certain products work better on Lightskin black people/Whites/Asians. I am a darkskin black woman, and this cream was not potent enough to make any real difference in my complexion.
BrownDeceit
Oct 2, 2009, 07:25 AM
DarkSkinGirl. When did you use the cream? And which cream? There are several different products from 55H+. And my original skin tone is probably around Kelly Rowland's. But I'm this right now http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_ND920tPjWkA/SPVZCjSomrI/AAAAAAAAPTI/TeX68NZsLMk/s400/garcelle+leopard+face.jpg but I've used several different products since I was 15/16. The Christaline didn't take me from Kelly Rowland to Garcelle's complexion. But it did lighten me about 3 shades. I'm surprised it didn't work on you. This just proves that what works for some may not work for others.

Also, others have purchased 55H+ at Top Skin Clear so you can ask of other's experiences. It didn't make my skin peel at all. Or make me dry at all.. . Maybe it's not for your skin? Everyone has different reactions. Anyone else's skin peel while using the glycerin? It's a really oil based product. So I find this odd. Must not be for you. What works for others won't always work for u

Hi guys, I'm going to try the Crystaline and the body lotiion with the green writing on the label. I will post my results as well to help others evaluate. Actually, let me 1st introduce myself as you guys are probably looking like "who is this new chick." My old username was "Its A New Day" (with one "s" after "Its"), and I hopped on the bio claire bandwaggon when it was hot. Deleted my account and stopped using bio claire (it worked on my face, thinned the skin on my neck to where scrubbing in the shower was giving me bruises, noticed thinning on my arms and legs but no overall lightening results on my body. Reallly lightened my sister who is about 2-3 shades lighter than me [ I am about a shade darker than kelly rowland]). So I stopped using bio claire and used Tri-Luma (4% HQ with tretinoin), but it was soooo strong that it LITERALLY BLEACHED MY FACE BY PEELING OFF CHUNKS OF PIGMENT WITHIN DAYS. So I said to hell with lightening I just want to look normal because my face was so many different colors. Ok over the summer got my pigment back, got a prescription for real Retin-A Micro (for acne) and will not be lightening my face anytime soon, but I am really trying to lighten my body because my arms go SO DARK after the summer. Ok I know that was a mouthful but it is good to establish some rapport before just jumping in here, so that is my story. I used the crystalline and lotion for like 3 days, then switched to using Othine right now (for a week now, which is 3% HQ), no results so far. I guess Ill go back to the Crystalline since you guys are seeing results, but I hate hopping from lightening products so I hope this works. As I said I'll post results within the week or month.

Yep. I apply it on my face neck and chest. I never sleep with it on my skin. I apply. Let it soak in for about 5-8 hours. Then take a shower or wash my face and get it all off. Let my skin sit dry for about an hour without any product. Then apply a nice moisturizer for when I sleep. It's an all day event for me. Lol. But I only do it once or twice a week. Three times max!

"Extreme Body Lotion Strong Bleaching"
Hydroquinone free? What does it have?
... Are you my twin? I notice our names are very similar..
I don't believe the chrystaline will turn brown, usually products that contains hydroquinone will turn brown due to oxidation and will nolonger become effective.
Welcome Itss A New Day, possibly try using a skin lightener for about 1 month to see if you notice any lightening changes since the skin cells shed within about every 28 days

Is the stickiness that bad? I guess the consistency of much oil and glycerin can be uncomfortable. Does it absorb in after a while or sits on the skin?
Browndeceit, I was thinking maybe a potent vitamin C serum will help give a nice natural looking glow to the skin.

It takes me like... at least 4 hours for it to completely absorb. If not more. I don't like to go to sleep with it on. So sometimes I even just wash it off because I'm so restless with it. And oooo! Good idea Golden! I'll def try that. Do you recommend any specific one?

Gives you a natural glow immediately after you put it on... can feel a little sticky though.. smells great. Helps improve your skin tone.. I apply a vitamin c moisturizer after and I take vitamin c pills. Makes your skin look healthy and clears imperfections.. love it.. I don't think it alone will give a huge difference but combined with a great regimen, it will improve your skin a lot.

Oh wow one person didn't get results after using it for most likely less than 20 days (the recommended minimum period on the package) and suddenly it's a product that's not effective.

That's true just because it didn't work for one person doesn't mean it's not going to work for you. Also, it was only used less than two weeks, so that just goes to show it wasn't even used for a long time.

Don't all those fish oil pills give you fish burps? I used to take two a day and I could not stand the lingering smell of fish oil that came up when I burped. If you use a brand that doesn't give fish burps (there are some out there I think) please do share. My brand was Nature Made

I would suggest asking your doctor first. To see what she/he recommends. When I get back home I'm going to ask my mother to take me to the doctor so I can see what she recommends. I haven't had any bad side effects (by the grace of God), but I'm just one of those people that likes to be extra careful. It's actually pretty RARE. Very RARE to have any bad side effects from taking fish oil pills. You'd have to be like taking ten a day. Lol.

Im embarrassed to say a little over a week collectively... but see I know when something's working because even within a week I see inklings of microscopic spots that have lightened on my skin, you know what I mean? Like take the Bio Claire, within a week I saw even the slightest of results, even if I had to squint to see it. So its like I know I should be patient but at the same time I know my skin and maybe this isn't potent enough for what Im trying to do... and it would suck to wait a month down the line and see zero results. I don't know... is it just me or has no one updated with their Crystalline progress lately? Is anyone still using?

It's a New Day, I know you want to see results now as I can also be impatient at times. But one week is very little to do it justice. It takes 28 days to have a skin cell turnover and really see results. I don't know how this will work on lightening for you, only time will tell. But to truly know it's best to give it 4 weeks. And also continue to exfoliate and use high spf sunblock. That's the best way to know if it works for you or not.
Bio Clair is a different story and that was an artificial lightening with the use of large doses of steroids. Steroids can lighten very quickly also because it thins the skin, making it practically transparent. So I wouldn't consider them a true skin lightener and x them out. That's my advice anyway.
Itss A New Day

Where did you get the TRILUMA? Do they sell it in the beauty supply stores?
Triluma is a prescription topical cream, but broken down it is simply 4% hQ, 0.05% tretinoin, and 0.01% fluocinolone acetonide. You can purchase the hq and tretinoin online, and no it cannot be found in any BSS

I've been looking @ people at lot lately and many have arms that are a bit darker(& for guys forearms that are waaaay darker.) I guess it's from hats or only applying sunblock to the face and neck?
It seems like models(maybe it's photoshop?), actresses/celebs and socials are usually even-toned from face to arms. However with regular folks, I'm noticing a bit of everything.:p
OT: I bought some 55H+ Cristalline glycerine today.. It is sticky but I've got on an old cotton dress on that I can throw in the washer. I applied to my arms. I'll report my results if any.

This is my 3rd day using the crystaline and it is bit sticky, mostly because of the castor oil ingredient, but it's tolerable. As long as it is able to lighten, then I wouldn't mind.

Hmm... I'm curious as to if the ingredients have been tweaked hence the new labeling? The ones I saw at the local african shop were produced April of this year and expire in 2011 I believe, so I'm curious how yours is going to work this time around. Please be sure to update.

For the back I'm guessing it takes much longer compared to the face since the skin is thicker there? I never tried lightening the back. Are you using an exfoliator as well for the back?
I may try and wrap up my arms with the hq when it arrives. To see if it'll speed up the lightening. Can you wrap up the hands and fingers as well at night?

GG, I use a papaya soap and a dermacloth to exfoliate before applying the cristalline... but I don't think it's going to work for me... I need something a lot stronger... on the bottle it says to use on the face and neck; so I'm guessing it won't be effective on the body...
I guess it's OK to use the wrap on your hand and fingers at night... I can't see why not...

It shouldn't be a problem and you can even put on those moisturising gloves that are used at night to condition your hands. I just always get irritated when I have something on my hands when I sleep, so always end up with the gloves or wrap off, shortly after I go to bed.

I see, well let us know what you choose next for the back. I want to eventually lighten that area along with my feet.
I may try sooner or later wrapping it on my hands and fingers. I'll wait until I start seeing my face really lightening and then give it a try.

I ordered the 55H+ at http://ebfhair.net/ebfhairdotnet/catalog/catalog/index.php?cPath=46_52 (55H+)
and it starts light my skin pretty good.
I love how sellers prey on the popular items on the threads and start promoting their website without making any other valid contributions to the board...

OK so I know it's too early to tell but I'm not super impressed with the 55h+... lol... of course my complaints are the same as everyone else's about the stickyness, of the cristaline... but I guess at less than $20 I can't cry too hard... but the lotion I can't even try... the perfumy smell is so strong it makes me gag... lol.. and it's that heavy magnolia smell like granny perfume... even the cristaline smells strongly but at least I can bear that... I feel sorry for the guys trying this product lol... guess they smell "pretty" lol...
I actually feel darker after I use it... but I think it's just because it's oily and light reflects differently on oily skin...
