I have a Kenmore Elite that is ~ 5 years old. It recently started to leak only while draining soap. It does not leak any other time. I was speculating that it uses a different path to drain soap and possibly uses a filter on that path. Before I take it apart are there any ideas on why it would only leak during soap draining and not after rinsing?

I might also speculate that during the soap draining process the soap tube might have a rinsing phase (even though I pour my soap directly into the laundry). It could me some aspect of the path for something that cleans the soap tube during the soap draining that is leaking as well (Maybe a mouse is stuck in there :rolleyes:).
