IAmGrowler here --

Long story short -- I will be in Biloxi, Mississippi the second week of October (the 7th through the 12th) working on hurricane damaged homes, with future visits planned through the winter and spring.

Mississippi falls under the Standard/International Plumbing Code, a code I am not altogether familiar with, if anyone is interested in making themselves available as my lifeline for frequent phone calls to help parse unfamiliar codes, please contact me at >E-mail removed< where we can exchange phone numbers.

Thanks.

Steven.

Welcome back Growler! I see you're posting under a different handle. I can help with the Standard Plumbing Code if you wish. PM me for my phone number. Regards, Tom

I don't have a high enough post count to access the PM function in my new profile and the old profile has been either deleted or locked out, Tom.

Drop me a line with the supplied e-mail and I'll get the contact info to you.

If anyone is interested in volunteering their time in the rebuilding effort, and trust me, there is still a great deal of work to be done, they can check out this link (www.doltr-biloxi.org).

Steve,
Your Addy was deleted. Let's see if it will accept mine. [email protected]
Give me a shout and we'll exchange numbers. You're volunteering your labor through your church or are you contracted to do the repair? Does "Old Miss" fall under two codes? What gives with that? Tom

It's an all volunteer effort being put together by a past client, at least one representative from most of the trades who worked on his home will be going down on this trip.

As for the two code question, I was just trying to cover my bases while waiting for an answer about which of the two codes apply in Mississippi.

Turns out they are currently following the 2006 edition of the International Plumbing Code.
