Will my husband be required to pay child support once our divorce is final even though he is disabled and receives SSD and my son receives benefits from social security?

That's up to the judge to decide.

Does he have any other income at all?

No; The only income he has is SSD. The income my son receives is from his fathers SSD which is why I was asking if he would also be required to pay child support. Surely he can't be charged when he's already providing an income for his son, at least I hope not.

From what I've seen and heard, he shouldn't have to pay support if he is receiving SSD and your son is also eligible as a result of that. But judges can do funny things.
If I can ask, why do you not want him to have to pay child support?

There are two types of social security disability. One is SSDI , other-SSI.If a parent is on SSDI and is responsible for paying monthly child support payments, there is a chance that the payment can be taken from their SSDI proceeds. In the case of SSI, the custodial parent has no right to any of the proceeds from the disability benefits. They can also not have any back payments they may be entitled to, taken for this reason.
