A friend and I are writing a song together, he is really good and already has recorded and been on the radio before and I haven't yet. He says that I should be in the chorus and have my own verse and I should decided the story line/theme of the song. Its rap music and the beat/music is kind of jungly but something that you could play in the club and dance too. It kind of remindes me of something lady gaga would do a song to.

So any ideas of storylines/themes of it ? I'm good at rhyming and whatnot so I can rap about basically whatever you throw at me. Thanks for the help (:

A chorus makes me think: Whisper of the breeze

If you are outside, you will hear the breeze which is the softest of wind flows through the trees and shrubs and grass and around you. I was thinking of a nice soft warm breeze in the spring with just a hint of rain coming.

What is the original subject of the song to which your friend wants you to sing a chous, please?

Thanks!

Try something really angsty. It sells (and is almost always good). We all got our own pains so I'm sure you can pull it off. If it's rap try listening to Eminem's music, and about the jungly stuff, maybe a bit of Safri Duo's "All the people in the World" (is that right?. ), about the Lady Gaga thing... Well... I'm sure you can blend the three together.
