I use the BBC website as my home page, I have done so for years. The site allows you to customise the page to include/exclude what content you want on it, such as news, sport, TV, local weather forecast etc, even the position of each content section on the page. After a recent Windows update (I have MS Vista Home Premium) I can no longer do this. When I first opened it up after the update, the site had reverted to the default settings (i.e. all available content was on it). Every time I reset it to my settings, it reverts to the default settings as soon as I click on anything or move away from the page. Even when I enter and save my hometown location, it indicates and lists that town name but still only shows the default info (London) for local news and weather etc. I do not delete my cookies so they are all still there.

Any ideas anyone?

I would see if the BBC website has a support page or email option where you would be able to possibly find some support, It would seem like that you would not be the only one to experience this issue as you had mentioned this only happened after the update.

They might have some useful information avail
