Hi I haven't babysat in a while and I am going to babysat a 8yr old boy and a 4 year old girls they both attended school.I have to get them get them ready for school, pick them up, cook, and do house keeping. They live in an excellent neighborhood. How much should I charge for that? Please need help asap thanks

Just a reminder, you only need to post once. They will probably combine them, but make sure you don't repeat the same post. It will be read.

I would start at a normal wage of 7 per hour per child. And then negotiate depending on how long you work. If it's not many hours thenpossibly raise the price a dollar or so. This may be a good starting point. But make sure that you don't just take whatever they offer you if you REALLY aren't satisfied. Just understand that they have a budget as well.

Every area is different when it comes to rates. I would call around and find out what other babysitters are charging in your area. Figure out the average and then include the fact that you are picking them up and cooking too and come up with an amount you think is fair.
