Hey I was just arrested for grand theft third degree this is my second affence the first one was for the same thing but the case was pick up by pretrial intervention then was sealed and expunged. What do you think will happen this time and is there a chance pretrial intervention can take over the case again some please help me with this.

Hello d:

They take people into diversion who they think they can prevent from future crime... It didn't work with you, so I doubt they'll try again.

You're a second offender and you'll probably do time.

Let's see. You were previously convicted of a felony and somehow had a pretrial intervention have the conviction sealed and expunged. And now you've done the same thing all over again. Will you be able to skate down the road again? No. You'll be doing probably some jail time (at least 6 months or more) and probably at least 5 years probation time. Pretrial invervention is to be used only once per customer as a "get out of jail free" card.

Where did this happen? There is a good chance at jail time maybe a token amt, like others said diversion is one shot thing, the da going to see the pervious arrest . Maybe with a good lawyer you can get probation if your lucky, the fact its your 2nd offense for the same thing your in a bad spot.
