I am interested in the Fair and White range. Does this product contain Mercury, Steroids or Hydroquinone:eek:? Because the site doesn't list any of the products ingridients.
If u used this range for overall skin lightening or any other reason, pleez tel me hw your experience was and which product you used. Oh, and where you bought it (online)

Yes it does. Ive been using it now for about 3 months and am now 2 shades lighter. You have to use it like it says: twice daily for 2 weeks and you will see results. You should always use sunblock when going out in the daytime or else your face will get dark again. Fair and White contains hydroquinone. Recently my face has developed a reddish rash like look and its from the hydroquinone, that is one of its side affects in most people. The redness has almost dissapperd and now I'm taking a break from bleaching my face .

The fair and white cream from the original line(white). I never tried the gel.You can get it from your local beauty store. I have lightened about 2 shades. It really works I promise you. I just wish my face hadn't got so used to it cause I can't stand to see my face red.

SH-18 skin lightening body lotion with a aha soap + I add half a tea spoon of hydroqiuone powder in it and shake it. It will make your skin peel like crazy for about 2 months and first your skin will peel and get smooth and even then it will start to get browner then a lighter brown .also it faded my stretch marks but I only use the aha soap in the summer I use a apricot seed hydroquione soap usually :)

My face is red because of the hydroquinone.It is a common result for a lot of people who use bleaching products containng HQ. Its like a reddish rash with small bumps. Since I stopped using it the bumps have dissappeared and the redness have gone done. 2 days ago I Bought a cream at the pharmacy to take care of the reddness from the rash. So my rash is cearing up. :D

I am African American. I was darker than kelly rowland because of the sun. Now I'm about 2-3 shades lighter.

That is good that you were able to clear it up. Does the redness and rash ever fade even while your using it, if not which crème did you use to help the redness?

With all the talk about the problems of long term use of Hq, would you mind saying how long you have been using the HQ for. And congrats on achieving what sounds like good lightening results.

Hey Tai, thanks for telling me. That's great that Clear Essence helped lighten you very well. Yeah I'll send you a pm to see the before and after picts, thanks. Are you sure your not referring to the Fair & Flawless line instead of the Fair & White? I know that Fair & Flawless are insanely expensive, but Fair & White usually cost about $20 or less. I never tried either.

Lol yeah I think my fam suspect that I'm using something they ask my mom "how come she looks alot lighter?" or "is she wearing the wrong color makeup"my mom lies and says oh because it was the summer my old friends when ever I run into them I have to say its me and my name for them to realize they just say "wow you look so different your skin is so clear"

I know the feeling. When I had lightened, many people who I knew years back couldn't recognize me or barely noticed me. A good sign that lets you know that your reaching your goal.

You're lucky because it sounds like your Mum is supportive of what you are doing. I know my Mum wouldn't be too pleased. She has said to me before that I look like I need to get some sun, because my face looks pale, but I am not sure whether she thinks that I am doing anything. I know that she definitely prefers darker skin tones.

NO doubt they will find another nasty nick name. There are so many mean people. What ever happened to being kind to each other. It should always be that if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all. I wonder if these people realise how much their words hurt but maybe it is more about their own insecurities, that they feel the need to express themselves in such a way, as to deflect from how they feel about themselves.

You are right Maharani, they will always find something to say and some name to call. "if you have nothing nice to say, then don't say anything at all", many I guess choose to ignore this quote but it has much vaule. Instead they do as they wish. Perhaps the objective was to hurt others in order to make themselves feel better... to mask their insecurities as you had mentioned. I think such issues should somehow be addressed if possible.

Ok thanks because I went into two beauty stores today and could'nt find it, so I'm to check my pm

I used Fair & White Exclusive. I used the soap, the whitenizer serum, and the gel (ALL IN THE BLUE BOX OR GOLD BOXES). I ordered from Texas Beauty Supply. I used it in 2007 because I had dark marks on my face from acne. I never tried it on my body or all over my face. I only applied it to the dark spots.

My routine 2x a day

Wash with soap
Apply the gel with a q-tip and let dry
Apply serum with q-tip and let dry.

Summary...
Day 7- my spots started to turn red

Day 14- my spots started to turn darker. However, the dark circles around my eyes and above my lip finally disappeared after 28 years! I mean I looked soooooo awake.

Day 18 After I washed my face I would let it dry. I would then take a DRY wash cloth and exfoliate the dark area. The dark areas would literally rub off and reveal my natural skin color

Day 24 I started to get white spot on area's I NEVER applied the cream. I began to worry.

Day 30 - Everything cleared up! I was able to leave the house without make up. I swear to all of you I cried almost every time I looked in the mirror. I looked fantastic.

I had to irritation or bad reactions. Fast forward to now 2010. My face is still light,but once again it is full of dark spots from acne. When I used F&W my skin was super smooth and acne free. UNFORTUNATELY, I have a light face and darker body. Will I go so far as to say it's permanent, well maybe. When I go in the sun my face does not get darker, just my body does. I can't afford to buy enough cream to do my whole body... that would be multiples of hundreds since the bottles are soooo small. I tried the Exclusive lotion and it did nothing except make me smell like onions... it sticks.

All in all I had success with Fair and White Exclusive line. To bad I have nothing to use on my body. On the plus side, you do not have to use this product for longer than 30 days MAX. I do not know how it works if you put it all over your face, I am only speaking of dark spot removal.

Fair and White has many products.Fair and White Original has Hydroquinone(White Bottle). But F&W Exclusive(Blue bottle) and F&W So White(Pink bottle) do not have hydorquionone. In my opinion,I have used So White.It was so so nice. My race... African.

One question: where can I find a ready made hydroquinone powder on the net, because I bought one on a site that said it was a powder and when I open it it's some effing crystals that won't dissolve. And I need to be real spot free for the summer... please help.
