Ok so here it goes. I took my car in for an oil change last week they told me the battery was no good. This morning when I was on my way it started putting and then eventually died. I went to Autozone and got another battery. It will start but when I step on the gas and put it in gear it will start putting again and die. I am not sure what is wrong with it... When I call around I get different answers of what it could be. Example. Distributor, fuel pump and filter, wiring and altinator. Please help I am at my wits end with this car.

Replace the Ignition Control Module (ICM) and coil:

Get these parts at AutoZone and you should quickly have your car back on the road in an hour.

I was now just told to replace the ICM. Does this go out on vehicles a lot?

Yes, all the time. Look at all of the posting on this site. Most Honda dealers probably replace these components on 3 cars a day. It's a staple repair job for them.
