Hi there,just asking for some ideas of how to put a speech together for the father of the bride as to who he thanks,acknowledges,toasts,etc,etc.any ideas would be greatly appreciatied.Thankyou for your help.Regards Terese mother of the bride.:)

Father of the bride speech should be sentimental, funny, anecdotes about her reaching this point in her life. He doesn't have to thank anyone really, they should be thanking him for providing them with the wonderful evening, if tradition has been followed and he is paying for the event.

A joke about the hubby is always good.Like the first time Dad met him.Start with funny,get real in the middle and leave with funny!
