Okay, I am 11 days late on my period now. I called my doctor on the 23rd of Oct. and she had told me to wait another week and take another pregnancy test. Well I took the first response test this morning and it came back negative, so I am assuming that I am not pregnant, unless there wasn't enough hormone in my urine. I am supposed to start my next period on the 12th of Nov. so I guess I will see from there where to go. I just want to know what you guys think that my problem is? I have never missed a period since I have been having periods. I would like to know what you guys think is wrong with me. I would have thought that I would have started since I'm not on my because right now, but I haven't. Any body with any experience please give me some advice.

Bleimberger,
This is the 4th thread you have started on this subject. You had some brown spotting a week or so ago. This could very well have been your period.
No woman is always 100% regular when it comes to periods. Sometimes we have a little brown spotting that is considered a period. I do not believe you are pregnant. So, stop worrying. The added stress of worrying about this will really mess up your periods.

Why would I have brown spotting when I never have before, now I would understand if that had happened before, but it hasn't. I mean I guess it could have been my period, but I wouldn't even consider it a period. I guess I have nothing to worry about, if the test said negative, then that means that I am not pregnant. Now if I don't start my period on the 12th what do you think that it would be, because that would be 2 months without a period, I think I will take another pregnancy test and see what it says, but either way I am going to go to the doctor if I don't start again.

Just because this is the first time does not mean it was not a period. All of us women go whacko once in a while, sometimes only once, and sometimes often.
I (we) have given you the best advice we can over the internet. There is nothing better than a face-to-face history and a physical examination to end your questions.
So, please make that doctors appointment.

I have been saying this too Krs. Stress.
Go to the doctor. Relieve your mind, we can't do anymore than we have here.

Just to agree with the previous posts... Go to the doctor if you are really worried!
Also, I went through a very stressful time a few years ago and my periods went wacko
Also, tell the doctor about any stress, change in eating habits, exercise, etc as I found all these factors to affect changes in periods from personal experience.
Also, you mention you are not on your birth control right now. Did you just stop? If so... yet another reason to throw your cycle out of whack.
Good luck!
