Hi there,
I am suffering from a burning sensation in my lower back (sacrum area) especially when sitting down. I find some relief whilst standing although not much, I do benefit from much relief when I'm lying down resting. I've been to my GP and I've had some blood works done which all came back normal and had an x-ray done on my lumbar spine that indicates I suffer from mild scoliosis, but that my GP says the symptoms I get are not due to this, he says that what I have is nerve pain and has given me a prescription of amitryptiline which I have not taken yet as I feel I have not been diagnosed properly. I'm also seeiing my gyanecologist as I'm going through premenopause he's done several ultrasound scans on me and they all seem to be all right although he thinks I should consider taking HRT as I have a hormonal imbalance with low estrogen levels. I've also been to see a gastroenterologist, he performed a GI test on me that came back normal, but he also requested some x-rays on my back because he said that my problem is coming from there. My x-rays confirmed I do have a low back problem and he feels I should go to see a traumatologist.
Please could you answer me back with your opinion as to what you think I could be suffering from and give me some guidance on what to do and who to really go and see as I feel I'm been messed around with no solution to my problem.
