We have tried Everything. It 'acts' like it is out of gas when the tank is full. The car just shuts off as though the gas isn't getting through. I have had replaced the fuel filter, the pump, all the relays, and some other things connected to the fuel line (I don't know what they were called). I was told then it seemed to be the security system shutting off the gas line, thinking the car was being stolen.. They checked the manufacturer security system and that checked out. I was told there was a remote starter that didn't work on the car. The remote was on my keys but never did anything and eventually I lost that. I am now wondering if it is the faulty remote starter causing the problem, but I can't find someone who knows how to dismantle it so the car runs without it. PLEASE... I have been stranded, unable to look for work for over a week now due to this... ANYONE have Ideas? Thank you!

Depending on what brand the remote system is, you may have a hard time locating someone familiar enough with your system to know that they got all of it.
Some of the aftermarket add-on's are known as "very intrusive," meaning they are spliced into various wires already part of your car. This makes it much more difficult to know for certain which systems are effected.
If you know the brand name, look them up and give them a call.

Just after writing this I had gotten the idea to call Best Buy since I knew they install most of the popular brands of remote starters. I checked with them to see if they also Uninstall... and Sure enough they do... for only $60! Now I just hope that is the problem!
