I have recently completing tiling my master bathroom floor. My wife has decided that she wants one wall in the bathroom partially tiled. My question is: can I use bullnose tile to start the wall (joining the floor tile) or should I use wall tile? If I can use bull nose, would I adhere it directly to the wall and tile up from there, or do I tile the wall with wall tile and adhere the bull nose to the lowest tile? Not sure and can't find a lot of pics that really show how it is usually done.

Thanks very much!

Are you confusing bull nose with base?

Okay - did you plan on how you are placing your tile? You will need to know where your cuts are for the original tile. For asthetics, we usually put the bullnose (trim tile) with the grout line as opposite from the grout line of the your regular tile - or you could line them grout lines up. Figure that out.

Next, we try and bring the tile out and down the sides of the tub or shower as well to the floor. Next to that goes the bullnose. Got a picture of your project? That will help.
