I have a GE Microwave Oven (model # JVM130G01 Serial #: DA903450S).
Does anyone know why It blows the main fuse only when the front door is opened.
Thanks,
VC

You obviously have some kind of short in the microwave. Throw this unit away and don't use it as you could end up either getting a nasty shock or the house wires could get overheated. Please don't try and get this repaired - buy a new one. It's cheaper in the end.
I threw my microwave oven away 2 1/2 years ago when the oven went through a bad electrical storm and the power cord got fried. I didn't bother replacing it as I've done extensive reading on microwaves and found that they hold a very high voltage charge in the machine itself even though the power is turned off or the machine is not even plugged in! Also the radiation eminating from the unit (even when turned off) stays in the home's atmosphere and ends up being embedded into the walls, furnishings, etc. I did find that since I ditched my microwave oven my knee and other joints in my body have stopped hurting. Food also tastes better not being radiated also and has more nutrients. I had a microwave oven since 1974 up until 2 years ago. I would not own another one period. The "extra" electricity I'm using really amounts to about $5 a month. My health is worth more than $5 a month "savings" from using a microwave oven.

Nope, the interlocs are out of adjustment or one of the interlock switches are bad.

I'm with KISS, or faulty wiring to light. A visual check would be all that is necessary to determine. You might remove bulb to see what happens before dissembling. If you remove the bulb and the fuse does not blow you will know problem is in light wiring or holder. If fuse blows it still might be light.
