Daughter has a 1999 ford taurus and was fine Fri night when she parked it, Sat morning it won't go into gear. I watched as she shifted and the linkage is moveing, could this be electrical issue?

Yes I did, fluid didn't smell smoked and looked clean, and was full

Had mechanic look today, some pump is gone
