Hello my problem is I disconnected my wall light in my bedroom. There no switch on wall involved just light. Disconnected the wires and now my bedroom outlet the outlet in the room next to this one and all of the ceiling fans/lights in all the rooms 3 total don't work now at all. All I did was disconnect 2 wires coming in from the wall connected to the wall light. When I tried to reconnnect the light again the way it was I was still getting no power to those areas. Everything else works but that. Coming from the wall where the light is there are 4 wires 2 each coming from your normal protected metal casing. I can't figure out what is wrong here. ANy help is appriecated.

Let see, you have a light on a wall with no switch. In the box you have two cables (BX) with two wires in each cable. One black and one white in each cable for a total of 4 wires. You have reconnected the two blacks and the two white wires back together.
Is that correct?

Right now I have the wires separate. I did try to reconnect the wires from the wall back to the wires from the light. I didn't try to reconnect just the open wires coming from the wall to itself.

You may have disturbed a connection. Check all the wire nut connections in the box.

I reconnected both white wires and both black wires and now things are back up and running. I guess the circuit wasn't complete until the rconnect you gave me. Thanks much have a good one.
