I'm wondering if I'm getting quotes for a Bryant package heat pump , installed.
If a R22 should be cheaper then a unit using 410a Puron?

That really depends upon the area in which you live. While R-22 will be around for a long time to service R-22 equipment R-410A is the latest item.
Some equipment using R-22 will be discounted because of the above mentioned facts but to give a concrete answer will be just about impossible. I suggest you get the standard 2 or 3 estimates and figure from them exactly what you want to buy.
