You can also go to Carfax.com and should be able to find out specific information on used cars such as regular maintenance, oil changes, tire rotation, any accidents, clear title, ownership history, etc. You will need specific information pertaining to that specific automobile; year, VIN, etc.

Actually you can request a 'Carfax Report' from the auto dealer and they should give it to you.
