) How are the graphs of these functions different?
f(x) = x3 and g(x) = (x + 3)3?

b) How are the graphs of these functions different?
j(x) = | x | and k(x) = | x + 3 |?

c) How does the graph of a function change when you add a constant to the input of the function?

what is x3? If that is supposed to be x^3, please use the ^ symbol (SHIFT 6) when referring to an exponent.

Graph them and see what the difference is.

For the first one, (x+3)^{3} is shifted 3 units to the left.

If it were (x-3)^{3}, it would be shifted 3 units to the right.

Use the same sort of reasoning on the second problem.
