Kohler K-10412 kitchen faucet. Next to no hot water coming out. Hot water pipe feels nice and hot coming up to faucet. Cartridge just replaced but didn't solve the problem. Faucet is about 1 1/2 years old. Never very hot water in the past but hot enough. Dishwasher gets hot water.
Pressure of cold water is fine.

Shut the water off and remove the cartridge. Cherck the inlet ports for any trash. Now, place a pan over the valve and turn on the hot water stop to flush out the supply. There should be a strong stream coming out when you do this. Let me know the results. Tom

Tried your advice twice. Found out there is a nasty crimp in the semi-flexible hose at the bottom of the faucet. Pushing and squeezing only got it a little open. Decided to pack it in and get a new faucet. Ace hardware guy couldn't get the hose off either. He said factory uses some sort of power tool to tighten the nuts and it is next to impossible to get it off. Space between two nuts is minuscule and nothing he had handy would take it off.
I installed the new one and have hot water now. I appreciate the education and it is reassuring to know there is an expert that will step me through problems.
Thanks
