Hello:

Let's gather up the scorecards. You've been reading about the issues we discuss - and you've been judging. Tell us about that. Your vote will be public. You may select MORE than one.

Sorry if I missed anybody. I only had 10 slots. If you can name others, please do, and tell us why.

I frankly don't care one way or the other. I already know I'm right.

So is Tom and Speechless, both of whom may actually be better debaters than I am.

I don't care about the personalities or the ability to debate, only in the correctness of the position.

If you CAN'T convince anybody of the correctness of your position, it's probably not so correct. Ever consider that? What? Are you making excuses for losing BEFORE you lose? You must know something I don't.

Besides, this isn't about personality. I can't help it, though, if people vote for me because I'm younger and better looking than you.

Yeah... about that... why is Obama losing so much support for his health care policy in the polls? Could that have something to do with an inability to convince anybody of the correctness of his position? And could that have something to do with him being wrong?

And over 60% of AMericans agree with my position not yours... I'd say that that says a lot about the "correctness" of my position over yours, at least based on your statement above.

And I though you said that the only poll that matters was the one where Obama won by 52% of the vote in November 2008. Have you changed your mind? Or do you just pick your positions based on convenience?

The wolverine doesn't need anyone's help defending him but... If the above statement is a serious one then he definitely knows something you don't.

I picture a mother coming down on her son's. They think she's way too harsh.

I appreciate the links to info.

If I could, I would have given everyone a trophy :) so as not to hurt anyone's self esteem.
To Excon and NK, I do appreciate your difference of opinion and point of view.

get a life, this isn't a competitionHello clete:

You're right. This isn't a competition. It IS, however, about what the PEOPLE believe. In my view, this web cite is a true measure of that, as we get BOTH sides of the argument.

If you've noticed, the right says the majority of the people are with them, and the left says the same thing. Both sides can't be right.

So, I decided to conduct my OWN poll, and see what happens. You saw how I formulated the question. You've read the arguments. You've seen the results. I think they speak for themselves.

Ex haven't you noticed that your electorate is pretty much evenly divided, it is really only a shift of 1% that changes governments, it's the same here, if the difference is much greater than that; say 5%, you get a landslide. Right now, if your electorate is to be believed, the democrats have the mandate. Straw polls tell you nothing because you have to have a good sample and first past the post voting systems don't necessarily give you representative government.

I always side with open mined smart folks who are willing to have an open mind,
That's all
Thinkers who can step out of their comfort zone and embrace a different point of view.
That what I vote for.

Poll? I thought you said troll, Exie. Oh well.

When I reread the question for the poll I could have voted for more than one of my favorites...

But I did vote for you Speech if you must know.

I like your photo. You looked just like I pictured you. A no-nonsense guy.
